FND Rehabilitation
FND Rehabilitation
The Surrey Hills Rehab team have extensive experience in supporting people with Functional Neurological Disorder and lead the FND peer support group for the area too. They work closely with Clinical Psychologist, Consultants and Occupational Therapists who specialise in FND to provide a holistic goal-orientated approach to their NeuroRehabilitation, both within NHS and Independent Sector
Initial Assessment is likely to last 90mins to 2hrs depending on your fatigue levels and will include thorough analysis of all your symptoms and history before reviewing your movement and function. Following this; a Bespoke plan will be made which may include strategies, exercises, classes or other referrals to the multi-disciplinary team according to your goals. We focus on your understanding of your type of FND and feeling confident to manage it through regaining automatic movement.
